Chromaluxe’s Natural Wood panel is the ideal substrate for use in dye sublimation. This natural hardwood panel is 3/8” thick and has a maple veneer coated with a low-gloss finish. The panel is pre-drilled with two keyholes allowing the finished product to hang in a landscape or portrait orientation. Chromaluxe’s Natural Wood panels are the perfect way for artist and photographers to display their art. These panels allow the natural wood grain to show through the image, creating a unique piece every time.
Sublimating Instructions: When sublimating Natural Wood Prints it is important to minimize the bleed on your transfer in order to reduce the appearance of dyes on the sides. Suggested bleed is 0.1” on all four sides with the transfer paper taped to the back of the panel. Press time and temperature is the same as it is for our standard MDF wood panels (400o F for 1:30-2:30 depending on size).
